I am interested in becoming a Certified Financial Planner, but I am with something like a “Catch-22 faced. To meet the requirements for official certification as a Financial Planner, a person must have three years experience in the financial industry. I am currently a full-time secondary school teacher in the social sciences, and want to make the transition to new careers as soon as possible after I left the classroom (in about 10 years). What can I do while I am teaching full-time to gain financial experience I need so I can move towards a Certified Financial Planner, without having to spend three years to make this experience was after I retired from teaching? Thanks in advance for your time, ideas and information.

It is hard, because I sure you’ve had a full schedule. Contact life / health insurance agents and financial advisers in your area and see if they have opened a summer job. Perhaps some of them are open on Saturdays? (Quite the contrary.) You might find someone who will take under his wing in a mentor mentee relationship /.

You can still have your license to sell life and health insurance and pensions (which constitutes financial product). So can you, your Serie 6 / 63 and / or seven licenses, so you sell products of variable interest. You can do everything by working to for you.

Perhaps it may be asked, other financial planners, as her debut?
