There’s a company that’s offering 1.5% APR interest only loan for anyone that has a credit score of 620 or above. They advised that if I take the $800 in savings and invest it, I can use the savings to pay off all of my outstanding debt. In 5 yrs after the loan [...]

Thanks for your response. But we have signed docs with a bank already, but since the rates have dropped AND I’ve learned of some credit unions offering a better interest rate plus lower closing costs. If I stop the process now, would our credit scores be affected?

i pay 20% interest on my car. OUCH! i know. the dealership said i could refinance in about 2 years and it will lower my interest and my payments BS? or was he stating the truth?

… as far as my credit score goes?

I am trying to refinance during this volatile time in the mortgage industry. Would it be prudent to have a lawyer involved even if my only intent would be to roll over into a new mortgage?

I live in Texas and bought a home 19 months ago with a 6.0 interest for 30 years and almost none downpayment. I have an oustanding credit score 730 or so.
When is a good time to refinance?

I bought my house around 3 years ago and it was at 380k but now it is valued 280k. Is there a way or a method to refinance in this situation?

The advertisement says they can offer as low as 4.75% but they always end up offering me 5.5 and higher. One of my cowoerkers say the secret is to never tell them the current interest rate I have, do you think this works? Are they able to really give the lowest rates they advertise?
